Booking terms – Riilahti cottages
The cottages are rented weekly or for the weekend. The rental period starts on Friday at 4:00 PM and ends on Friday at 12:00 PM (Sunday at 2:00 PM) unless otherwise agreed.
Bed linen and final cleaning are not included in the basic price of the cottage. Bed linen can be reserved for €20/person. Cleaning can be reserved for €80.
Bed linen must be used on all beds, no sleeping bags. The price of the cottage includes tap water, electricity and a reasonable amount of firewood. If you have not ordered final cleaning at an additional cost, you must clean the cottage on the last day of your holiday before leaving the cottage.
If you do not order final cleaning at an additional cost, you must go through the cottage cleaning list. If you have ordered final cleaning at an additional cost, you can leave the cottage on the last day of your holiday only after light cleaning and tidying up.
If the cottage is left unreasonably dirty or messy (even if final cleaning has been ordered at an additional cost), the cottage owner has the right to charge you an additional fee for the additional hours required for a more thorough and extensive cleaning than usual.
Pets are only allowed in the cottage by prior arrangement. Smoking is prohibited indoors.
If the cottage is booked 6 weeks or earlier before the start of the rental period, a reservation fee of 20% of the rental amount will be charged. The reservation fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The final payment is made to the account no later than four weeks before the start of the holiday. In the event of cancellation four weeks or less before the start of the holiday, the landlord has the right to charge the full amount. If the landlord receives another booking of the same value for the cottage, only the reservation fee will be charged. If the booking is made 4 weeks or less before the start of the holiday, the full amount will be paid immediately.
We reserve the right to cancel the reservation if the reservation has not been paid in full by the due date of the final payment. The reservation can also be canceled if there is a force majeure or other reason that could not have been foreseen or prevented in any way, or if the landlord has made a mistake regarding the rental time.
When you arrive at the cottage, immediately check the condition of the cottage and pay attention to the exits so that you can get out quickly in an emergency. Parents of small children should immediately check the cottage and its yard and pay attention to possible dangerous places. Please do not let children go to the beach alone. You must behave carefully and responsibly in the cottage, e.g. when using the sauna, fireplace, rowing boat or barbecue.
The tenant is obliged to take care of keeping the cottage and its movable property in good condition. The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by their own group in the cottage and its yard. In the event of damage, the customer must notify the landlord of the incident as soon as possible, but no later than on the day of departure. We also ask that you notify us as soon as possible if anything essential is missing from the cottage. The cottages are not allowed to accommodate more than the stated number of people.
By paying the reservation fee, the customer agrees to comply with the reservation terms and conditions.
